Wanderlust - it's that urge to travel, to pack your bags and hit the road. At our reference book we want to know if you've been bitten by the travel bug and where it was he told you to go.
Most of us have travelled somewhere in our lives, some of us have been around the world, others have got in the car and gone to the next town. In either case there is always that feelings of excitement, the anticipation of seeing something new, doing something different and learning a bit more about the big wide world.
At Wanderlust we want to hear stories about travel and destinations around the globe. Our travel files are open for anyone to contribute their favourite stories and separated out (loosely) by geography for a quick check when you're planning a trip. Every so often we feature a destination around the globe and give you some vital statistics to ponder. Of course we'd like anyone who's actually been to the featured destination to chip in with all the things they know about it too!
We're also one of the few places you can come and share your holiday pics without hearing muted groans and "do I have to" from the kids. We want to see what Big Ben looked like the day you were there and we're more than happy to hear the story that goes along with it.
If you've read a book about travel, by a traveller or even just featuring a bit where the main character gets on a train and arrives somewhere else we want to hear about it (so we can all go out and read it too).
I suppose when it comes down to it, Wanderlust is for armchair travel between your own trips, for dreaming about far off places and remembering the places you've been.
