The Tenth Muse
Well I am aware of the massive time constraints that plague many members of Pan Historia with the fast approaching summer season, we here at the Muse continue our steady progress of encouraging the creation of poetry. At the moment, it would be pleasing to promote the group activities that we are undertaking. The "Collectives" thread, "Poetry Tag" thread and the new "Duets" thread all work towards encouraging multiple writers towards a common poetic goal.
Though we take great pride in the individual achievements of the membership, the board has worked diligently to encourage a sense of community amongst the membership. We are particularly proud of the distinct multinational aspects of the Tenth Muse. That people from so divergent areas and cultures can meet through the art, and find community in what is so often an isolating endeavor is a blessing which scope is difficult the express. On a personal note, it pleases me intensely to watch, as the time slowly passes, the skills, risks, and challenges that the membership here faces in the quest towards becoming stranger writers. |
