The Sci-Fi Genre at PanBy Frick Greetings and Salutations from inner and outer space! Frick here, one of your friendly Sci Fi Genre Editors. I along with my binary counterpart, Frack would like to invite you to beam over to the Sci Fi Genre Hub to see what's transmitting on the sub space frequencies! As editors, we try to stay on top of the day to day news in the sci fi community here at Pan, communicating with the various MoBsters in an effort draw new readers and writers. And once a month we publish the hub Genre page choosing a novel to feature as well as a prominent Sci Fi character member. This month we have the privilege of featuring the novel Shalahar Ring. Seems that long ago, the Shalahar Ring was abandoned by the Builders. Re-discovered by a wandering colony ship, The Ring is home to a rapidly expanding population. Sounds like an exciting and original concept? You bet it is! Our March Featured Member is Captain Electron who is an Elf, who unusual as it may seem, built a ship and set out to explore the seas. However, along the way he interacted with one of the portals of Sigil. He proudly participates in several of the Sci Fi novels here at Pan and we're pleased to show him off to the community! Not only do we have your popular TV and Film based Science Fiction, The Sci Fi Genre can boast a truly original story concept by Pan's own Jean Friday whose 'FOREVER IS MUCH TOO LONG ' is based on her own original short story! Now if that's not enough to get you to come and visit, let me whet your appetite with the two new novels in our corner of the universe, The Voyage Within and The D Chronicles.
