Pan's Mardi Gras!

Dixyland jazz could be heard last February as 'The Red Carpet Group' reference book sponsored the first annual Mardi Gras celebration. This year's festivities were small with only daily postings of fun and a king and queen contest. A total of 26 characters were nominated by their peers for the honors. After a rigorous selection process Unseelie of The Changlings and Etienne of Tempest's Sancuary were named King and Queen on Mardi Gras day. A special award was presented to the novel SG-1 for their extra celebrating by decorating their dust jacket. Next year's festivities are planned to start earlier with even more fun including a home decorating contest, dust jacket competition and a few more surprises.
