Q: Tell us a little
bit about yourself...
A: I was a member
of the old History Vine and related sites a while back, then
was told about PH a few months ago. I help one of my sisters
out with Family Genealogy online, and I have been working on
web pages for such.
I live in Oklahoma, right in the middle of Tornado Alley.
And, I love Egyptology, history in general, reading, painting
(I do my own artwork and will post some here soon or on my
web page!), and I also do some gardening and embroidery. Q: Why
did you join PH?
A: I had been contacted
by one of its members while at another site. I thought it would
be great to get back into RP again, and hear from friends again.
Q: What is your
favorite part about being a member here at Pan Historia?
A: Being able to
do RP as well as help others with working on HTMLs, which I
have had many help me with, and being able to create a new
look at History, Sci Fi, etc. It help get rid of the boredom
as well when stuck at home because of bad weather. Also getting
to meet new people with the same interests.
Q: What are your
greatest accomplishments, either in RL or here at Pan?
A: Learning newer
HTML skills. When I first joined HV and other related sites,
I knew nothing about HTMLs, URLs, etc. Since then, I have become
good at building web pages, and helping others as well. I have
even made quite a few avatars and have them on one of my web
pages.
Q: I noticed you
are a member of the novel MASH: Chaos in Korea. Who is your
favorite character in the series? Do you have a favorite episode?
A: I grew up on
MASH. From it's beginnings to its end. For Officers, I'd have
to say Hawkeye. He's the type of Doctor who is compassionate
and caring enough to do his job, but, on the side, have some
fun when the day, or surgery, is over. I enjoy most of the
episodes. There are some I don't like. But, favorite episode, "A
War For All Seasons", where they go through the year.
Even with its errors on dates, it still is a great episode.
Q: Tell us more about
MASH: Chaos in Korea and your story in the novel?
A: Ok. Lt. Ledara
Potter, Regular Army, is from Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. She comes
from a long military line of family. She began Army Nursing
about 1948 right after High School.
She was stationed at the Ft. Sill Army Hospital for 3 years,
then was called up for duty in Korea. She was assigned to the
MASH 4077, Lt. Col. Henry Blake, Commanding Officer. And had
helped Col. Sherman T. Potter along with a Sgt. Annie Paul
to help set up a new Aid Station near the front lines.
MASH: Chaos in Korea is about the TV Series M*A*S*H. Many
of the series characters are involved there. From Lt. Col.
Henry Blake, Col. Potter, Hawkeye, Trapper, Maj. Frank Burns,
Maj. Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan, etc.
Currently, we are approaching the end of what would be Season
3, which was just recently released on Video & DVD. As
we go along, it is about late 1951. In the Fall.
We have had many posts on time in surgery, Meg Craddy and
the orphans coming through, Dr. Sydney Freedman, everyone's
favorite Psychiatrist, but, I think we will be having the annoying
CIA/ camp self abusement director, Col. Flag soon. You can
never tell who will pop up next.
In season 4, Col. Potter makes his appearance, after the loss
of Henry Blake at the end of Season 3, and Trapper goes home
as well. He is replaced by Capt. B.J. Hunnicutt.
