Kiss The Cook or I Have No Idea What I'm Cooking Tonight

by Morgan Adams & Liaus Horatius

Why Do I appreciate Kiss The Cook?

It all goes back to that very first cavemen who, after weeks away on a long and arduous hunt came back empty handed…only to find that cute little cave girl sitting in the field, her lips smeared, batting her cute little cave girl eyes with a Tyrannosaurus skull full of berries in her lap…and mankind discovered that sex begins in the kitchen!

That’s right folks! They ate to their hearts content rolled around in the field and propagated the species and eventually we got to this high handed point of global extinction….now that’s progress!

So remember folks…if you want to save humanity and ultimately the planet…Kiss The Cook!

Back in the beginning of Pan Historia the question of what to make for that evenings meal came up alot through IM's. The busy working people accessing Pan from the office, the stay at home people in a quandry, even students from college dorms at one time or another ran into a menu brick wall. In answer to those and many other questions about the culinary arts, Kiss The Cook was born.

It's goal was to discover interesting tidbits and delectable secrets from chefs of long ago, learn how food was prepared before the age of microwave ovens and refridgerators, and consider the origins of mealtime and table manners. But most importantly there is the sharing our own personal, favorite recipes. Recipes delicious enough to tempt even the most discerning taste buds.

The book itself is set up like a recipe box so that of your looking for a particular type of food preparation, you will easily find it on the discussion boards. The social board is where the real nuts and bolts of the cooking process takes place with members sharing techniques handed down through their family or ones that they've discovered through thr trial and error process. All of the information gathered and posted serves help the members prepare the meal hassle free.

So if you're loooking for that long lost cookie recipe that you remember from childhood, or you just want to sidle up to the kitchen table for a cup of coffee, visit Kiss The Cook and bring an empty belly.
