Tell us a bit about Quester and how you came
to create him? What are some of his talents and motivations?
Thank you, Lady Isabella ! Lets see i think the name Quester started with a video
game i used to play called The Quest.....Hold everything this is PNN ( Parrot
News Network ) POE here, coming to you from the interview office of the Pan Historian....Auack..
Excuse me Lady Isabella, POE i told you i would do your interview after this
one, now please refrain from interrupting again until we have finished.
Well Excuuuusssseee Meeee..! Auuuack..It seems me old Capt'n done gots all hight
and mighty all of a sudden. Aye, Aye, Capt'n Sir !
Lady Isabella, this is POE short for Pieces Of Eight. "Auuack, nuff wif da short
jokes big Shot," Sorry POE ! He's sort of my side kick or alter ego. Where Quester
is always friendly and always helping everyone. POE is into telling it as he
see's it, which can be quite different than what anyone else would expect.
I think we should move on to the next question. While POE is being quiet "grins"
Your home looks amazing and all of your graphics work has a certain ‘Quester’ Flare
*laughs* how did you start designing graphics and what inspires you to create
them?
Why thank you for those kind words, I have always been fairly good at two things
in school, music and art. the computer has given me away to expand on that talent
through the graphic's of Paint Shop Pro7. and If only you could see and hear
my music files! "laughs"
When did you join Pan Historia, and what is it about this community, and writing
in general that appeals to you?
I first joined Pan Historia when it was still in beta form. I started out as
many others did, A place called Ancient Sites and its many Vines .The Music Vine,SciFi
Vine, this is where i got hooked into exploring far away lands, and distant shores.
as for what keeps me coming back? I think that would be, the friends, i have
made over the years, plus being able to help others find what i have found.
If you could choose one character in history to portray, who would it be and
why?
I don't think i would pick a single person, but rather a time..I could be just
as happy on an old sailing ship or a new space ship, as long as there were places,
i could go that were never seen, or explored. A New Frontier.
What is your favorite book or movie? Do you have a memorable quote or scene that
appeals to you the most?
That question is easy, The Movie Cool Hand Luke. with Paul Newman. About a young
man that is always going against the establishment. If you knock him down he
keeps getting up they lock him up he keeps escaping he just can't seem to go
with the flow. he would ask, lord you made me this way, what were you thinking. "grins" and
the Quote would have to be:" What we have here, is a fail yer to Communicate"
One last question…What are your greatest accomplishments, either here
or in RL?
Here at Pan Historia, it would have to be becoming an Editor. It helps me to
do what i have always tried to do. help those people that need help fixing their
homes or finding what they need.
In Real Life, it would have to be the raising, of my three sons!
