First, I would like to say thank you. Second is of course I am not really good at this sort of thing, but I will give it my best shot. How hard can a few little questions be? *sweat drop*

Tell us a little about yourself and how you came to find Pan?

Well, I am a twenty six year old from Florida who has been writing since I was eleven. Just little things here and there nothing really impressive and I kept it mostly to myself. At least until a teacher in High School kind of helped me a long. Her name was Johanna Bolton and it turns out she was a writer as well. She helped me a bit with some structuring issues that I had back then., and helped temper who I am today.
As a writer I am constantly thinking of new ideas and new characters. In fact I am working on a young adult piece now and hope I may join the realms of the published.
How I got to Pan? Well actually that’s kind of a funny story. I have a friend who writes here as well. He didn’t have a computer for a while and would call me up and I would write his posts by dictation for him. He of course kept asking me to join, but I was more into the chat style rp at the time. It took about three months for him to convince me to join up and I have become a true convert. So much so that I don’t do chat rps anymore. I have been a proud member of Pan since 2003. Pan is my home now.

Your home page is very attractive, and reveals an interest in horses. Do you ride? Tell us about your connection to the equine species.

Yes, I have been interested in horses since I was a very little girl and started riding at three. I don’t know how the interest started, perhaps it was my Mothers love for them. But, needless to say I grew up with them. I did Eventing till I had surgery when I was 13, it was always a joy to be in a show. After my surgery I never did get back into the show circuit but I continued to ride till I was about 17 then my illness caught up with me as well as some other unfortunate events. I still love horses and perhaps one day I will be able to work with them again. They are a very big part of my spirit after all. The Horse is one of my Totem Animals.

Harmony Road, the novel you are a MoBster on, also concerns horses. Tell us about your involvement in this novel, and the directions you see taking your roles in there as the novel develops?

Actually, Harmony Road was not my Novel to begin with. It was started by another friend, and I kinda moved into it after she had to leave Pan. The novel has had a lot of issues just recently and I have mostly been focusing on that rather then a story line. Really I expect Harmony to stand for a long time in the future.
I see my character there eventually getting her footing back and rejoining life. Kestrel is on a road to self discovery after her fiancee’s betrayal of her. She is a strong woman and I hope to find a writing partner where she can develop further as a character.

What other sort of writing do you either do, or like to read?

I write poetry, Sci Fi and some Fantasy, really anything that comes into my mind. Though sometimes I have to chain down the thoughts, which can be hard considering how much my brain likes to jump about. As for reading, well, I am as eclectic with it as I am my music. I will pretty much read anything though I lean towards Sci-fi and Fantasy. As for authors I like Nora Roberts, Jayne Castle, Mercedes Lackey, Anne McCaffery and her son, Terry Goodkind, Yolen, CS Lewis, Walter Farley, um well I could go on for a few days here so I will stop. I love and respect about 100 authors.

You took 2nd Place in the Panniversary Silver Screen Contest, which probably makes you something of an old movie buff. Is this something you've had a long attraction to, or a more recent awareness? Do you have favorite actors or actresses?

A long term attraction. I am actually very disappointed in today’s actors. I feel that really the focus has drifted from talent to special effects. Granted there are movies like Lord of the Rings and Narnia that I really enjoyed, I think its just time to get back to true acting instead of selling movies with explosions and sex. Color me crazy. I like many actors from that time period, that list was really great actually. I love Greta and Ramon. But really most of the actors back then were terrific. My favorite movies, well All Quiet on the Western Front was very moving. I mean how can you not like it, Sunrise was a good one as well. I could go on here like I could with my authors.

If you were to suddenly find yourself in a "real live" movie, in a fantastical twist of fate, which one would you like to be living in?

This one is more difficult I have no clue. I think perhaps a fantasy movie might be kind of cool. So perhaps Lord of the Rings would be a good choice.

Thank you so much for your time!

It was an honor to be chosen. Never have been before so this came as a bit of a shock to me in actuality. Thank you very much for this opportunity and I hope I didn’t do to badly. I tried not to be to long winded. Thank you again. Kestrel.
