Authors and Inspiration
by Amala
When I came to Pan Historia almost two years ago, I was looking for a place to fit in.
Then I met them, Azrael and Aramar.
In the time I first started with my early creative endeavors on the The One Ring, it became apparent to me that my talents as a writer were not in league with the talents of the other gifted writers in that Novel. Tentatively, I came to speak with a couple of the characters and Azrael, under another name, took me under his proverbial wing and helped to put me at ease. Giving not only the guidance I would need to become a viable part of the novel, but to find the confidence and courage I would need to bring my ideas forth. Since then, I have grown as a writer and have had people comment on how good they think my writing is. What is more, he became to me a dear friend as well as a mentor and great source of inspiration.
A few weeks after I was established, I met another writer on the same story named Aramar. I was a bit uncertain if he would be my writing partner on the story, but when he said he would, I found a very dear friend in him as well. Both newer to the story, we came to write in the roles of sister and brother and in that our bond as characters and writers were forged.
Through them, I found the inspiration to go to other novels and try different genres and spread my own wings. In that, I have found a rare and precious gift. For on the stories, we have found not only that the writers in most cases have become good friends, but like family to us. If ever there was a great source of inspiration, it would be Azrael and Aramar. They are true inspirations to those around them and great teachers as well.
