Risen Phoenix Parade

It is that time of year again. Yes, what you have been looking forward to for 11 months is just about here. It is squid on the stick time!
*hears sounds of gagging*
Don’t gag until you try it!
Munching on squid on a stick is just one of the events that members of Pan can participate in during the 3rd annual Risen Phoenix Parade. Those with an interest in graphics –talent is not a requirement—can built a float to celebrate their novel, their genre, or their character—or characters!Animals frequently appear. No parade is complete with out Poe or Clare. The stands are full of observers—many who seem to be imbibing liquids that are not lemonade.
Come and participate in the parade! Build a float. Sell T-shirts or those funny hats or hawk the souvenir programs. Ride your motorcycle or unicycle. Toot your own horn—be the leader of your own band. All cowboy units on any kind of horses are welcome—or even ride your elephant. Balloons, magic carpets, cars, fire engines—any mode of transportation would be fantastic! Or just sit in the sun and enjoy the view!
This year’s parade can be the best ever only if you participate!
The parade begins on June 13th and will continue until midnight Pan Time on Sunday June 15th.
