The Pan Historian’s Fan Fiction Edition!
A phrase that has developed over the past several decades, Fan Fiction has become a familiar household term for ‘geeks’ and laymans alike. Everyone knows to some degree or another what Fan Fiction entails, although proper definitions vary slightly (and sometimes ardently debated) when one talks of Fan Fic their meaning is typically understood.
Undeniably Fan Fic has grown like wildfire, fans love their TV series, Movies and stories. They enjoy portraying their own personal works within a created environment which others can readily recognize and comprehend without having to intricately re-explain the basic concept. If you bring up a story set in the Dr. Who universe and your audience is fans of the series they can emerge themselves quickly with some basic assumptions and appreciate the fruits of your creative labors within the grand Who design. Just like Star Trek, StarWars, Buffy, Lord of the Rings or Forever Knight. Fan Fic can bring together folks with common passions and interests, striking instant success in many cases because a vibrant structure is already in place for inspired adventures.
So within these pages the Historian has a focus on Fan Fiction, and specifically Fan fiction around Pan with a Science Fiction flare. By far the most prominent Fan Fic activity can be found within the Science Fiction, however Fan Fiction can be found all over Pan Historia and many examples of other Fan Fiction throughout the site are included in this edition.
Whereas our staff would have loved to incorporate all novels of Fan Fiction origins in the Historian Pan is so vast we could not possibly do proper justice to them all. Suffice to say each Fan Fiction work here at Pan Historia seems worthy of investigation by fans of their relative subjects, and there’s plenty to go around with room the spare.
