I Love A Parade

Second Annual Phoenix is Risen Parade
by Zoe
Panhistoria's Second Annual Risen Phoenix
Parade", which took place over the weekend of June 22-24, was a great success, with participants from all over Pan coming together for our celebration of Pan's Phoenix.
The vendors were out in force this year, offering everything from the traditional squid-on-a-stick to balloons. T-shirts and lemonade were the big hits this year.
High above the crowds could be seen any number of airborne vessels, from a hot air balloon to magic carpets to spaceships. Many parade goers brought beautiful banners which they held aloft in honor of the occasion.
And the floats! So much creativity and effort obviously was put into each and every one. Many groups marched or rode in an assortment of vehicles or on horseback in the parade,
all accompanied by the cheerful strains of music from a host of instruments.
If you missed this year's parade, you can still enjoy it - every moment was preserved on tape for your viewing pleasure.
