Somethin That We Do

The river runs red
~ our skies turn black
To many lost lives
~ to late to turn back

The death toll it rises
~ the rubble is raised
America is shocked
~ hurt and amazed

That evil has tread
~ on our sacred soil
Throwing the world
~ into chaos and turmoil

Band together we did
~ our voices are strong
The world united
~ Right where we belong

Side by side we now stand
~ our numbers are great
Love now binds us
~ no longer in hate

With each passing day
~ our voices are raised
To the good Lord above
~ to Him we give Praise

That we now have
~ the ability to hope
Without that small blessing
~ we could never cope

With this terrible tragedy
~ we now face
We meet it with Hope
~ Love and Grace

Take my hand now
~ stand with me strong
United as one
~ we can not go wrong

The day will set
~ and tomorrow anew
No miracles here
~ its somethin that we do

A birth right
~ a gift
In Hope.......
~ our spirits will lift
