Silent Tears

In despair we wait for the visit of Death.
In anger we rail against life,
I値l miss him so......
A healthy man cut down in God痴 time.
We are, and aren稚, ready for him to go.
Loved ones gathered, praying for release,
Hoping (secretly) for life,
We値l miss him......
A fool scribbling words in a moment of loneliness,
I値l miss him so......
Letting go is hard,
But guilt in wanting is harder.
Release him,
We値l miss him......
Release him soon.
We値l always remember.
In gayety we jest that Death is nothing to fear,
Nothing to fear but fear it痴 self.
I値l miss him......
But in time (I tell myself) ,
I値l see him on the other side.
I believe this to be so but still I rail.
Grandpa I love you,
I respect you,
Your memory I値l honor always.
I know you love me,
I know your proud of me.
Even though he has faults,
He痴 still the greatest man I know.
