My Armor

    My day has begun,
    And already I dread,
    Every single moment,
    That lays ahead.

    Such pain, such torment,
    Encases, surrounds,
    In his anguished cries,
    His future abounds.

    For the pain I inflict,
    I shield my heart,
    An armor of light,
    In Grace she starts.

    The warmth of her arms,
    A mail I wear,
To be touched by her light,
Eases the pain I must bare.

    His tiny little body,
    My healing hands,
    The embrace of her,
    This life demands.

    The Heralds have called,
    His approach, tis time.
    I turn in her arms,
    My Armor, in Grace Divine.
