Dream Of Me

    "Dream of me," she whispered
As I was walking out the door
But how could she have ever imagined
That I would give her so much more?

"Dream of me," the breeze said
As it danced through the sky
    "Dream Indeed," I whispered back
"It is you I can not deny."

"Dream of me," her heart called
    Breaking boundaries across the miles
I will bring to her heart such happiness
    Making all the pain worthwhile

"Dream of her," Indeed I do
In dreams the boundaries melt away
Leaving naught but two dancing souls
Who in the ether must some how convey

    All the joy and happiness
    This meeting seems to bring
How the faintest touch of two hearts
Are more powerful then the call of Spring

"Dream of me," is all she asked
It was what I longed to give
Her heart, her smile, her tenderness
And a gentle reminder to Live

And now I ask one simple thing
    If she will but agree
When you close your eyes on this night
It is your turn to "Dream of me............"
