The Symposia

by Zoe

We've all heard of the classic Greek symposia, where the intellectuals of the day gathered for music, drinking and discussion. Here at Panhistoria, our own Symposia is much the same, only without the music. The booze we have though, in the Book and Bottle.

Our reference book deals with any number of subjects, as varied as are our members, who can request a topic for what interests them most. So far, some of our most popular topics have been Everyday Conveniences, WWII, Philosophy and Ethics, How the Printing Press Changed the World, and Scotland. We also have an Articles topic, for those of you who would like share what you've learned about your special interest without having to host a discussion.

The Symposia can be a most valuable asset to those of you who are writing in a novel set in a particular time or place, or simply a place for you to share your passion for some subject not included in one of the existing novels or reference books.

We hope you will join us in our quest for knowledge at The Symposia!
