May saw the rebirth and return of the Hawaiian Shirt Contest, this time with the added Bowling Shirt category. The two templates brought out some very creative shirt designs, the kind of shirts one might find in one's favorite retail outlet. The criteria was simple enough for both shirt templates, theme based; characters and novels, Hawaiian and Bowling styles as indicated, but if you look back on the thread at some of those entries, you can see folks just sort of threw all shirt-designing rules out the window. Very brave and exciting!

Great work by everyone who posted their shirt creations. Wish I could include them all here for everyone to see at once, they’re all that good, but just too many to swamp the window with, so I’ll post the First Place designs of each category and let you wander the thread later, when you have more time, because when you start looking you’ll have to see them all.

And The Winners are:
Several categories were judged: Hawaiian Shirt, First Place winner, raider; Bowling Shirt, First Place going to Dathne; Character Bowling and Hawaiian Shirts, the blue ribbon going to Amborse Meleema & Sky respectively. And of course Novel themes for both, with Beatrix & Hera walking away with First Place. Lots of Honorable Mentions were handed out as well.
