Many hours of life are spent looking out through the glass panes of windows. Hours can be spent watching what a bird does, or the way that the rain comes in across a lake, a park, a city. Some daydream, while others go out and pursue the great outdoors. What is outside your window?

On the Trail looks at parks; their function and use, as they have been historically, as they are now and hopefully shares in the vision of how they shall be in the future.

Many discussions gravitate towards where we have been, or where we are going, yet the vast majority of experiences occur while on route, when we are On the Trail.

Here at On the Trail we share the ways and means of travelling and experiencing travel, from the humble walk through to the full scale excursion – there is something for every one. Your local park through to National Parks, and the jewels of personal space in transit across the globe. From the heights of the mountains to the depth of the cave, the route is often as interesting as the destination.

How you get there, be it maps, or the equipment is shared freely. What On the Trail offers is a communal sharing for all who wish to see what is out there. Why just look through the window when you can go outside and become a part of the great outdoors?
