Infinite Worlds: The Realms of Speculative Fiction



Infinite Worlds was launched back in September 2004 by its current MoBs (aka the Eternal Champions), who are all keen science fiction and fantasy fans and felt there was a niche for a reference book that covered the whole field of speculative fiction. Our mission is to explore the many SFF sub-genres and sub-sub-genres, taking in not just literature, but also movies old and new, TV shows and mini-series, art, science 'fact or fiction', graphic novels, space-age technology - anything and everything with a sci-fi or fantasy theme!

At Infinite Worlds you'll find a place to exchange all SFF information and resources, from author biographies and bibliographies to news and reviews. We hope anyone writing or reading in the science fiction and fantasy novels at Pan will find our research tools useful, and our topics provide tips on world-building, avoiding fantasy clichés, writing convincing aliens, and where to find magazines and ezines that accept submissions.

Members are encouraged to suggest or instigate new topics of discussion at any time, as well as contribute to the information articles. But we don't believe in all work and no play! Members are also invited to try and baffle us in our popular and long-running trivia game, or contribute a fact to our latest activity, "Ten Facts About...". So if you’ve an interest in science fiction or fantasy we'd be pleased to welcome you at Infinite Worlds, where the Terminator Bar is always open and the drinks are always free!
