A anthology of stories set against the backdrop of America in the Seventies.
The Seventies was anything but boring. It was a dramatic decade full of change - from music, popular culture, politics, war, to American values. It was the fallout from the radical Sixties which ended with the death of Camelot and innocent optimism. It was born in the fire of the Vietnam War, the impeachment of a president, and at the end all that protest, peace and love, and rebellion ushered in an age of extreme capitalism. It was the age of Bowie, glam rock, and disco, as well as classic rock bands. It was pop art, performance art, and feminist art. It was flared pants, tie dye, hippy chic, flowing kaftans, and polyester.
Here at the That Seventies Novels we are free to explore the entire decade in our stories. This is an anthology novel so there is room for multiple visions, and multiple stories. You can focus on music, pop culture, or if you prefer delve into the politics. The only rule is that your stories are set firmly in the seventies.
