 In 17th Century France, two girls mysteriously disappeared from the Duc du Bois' lands near the coast. One was his own daughter, Alysanne, Comtesse du Bois. The other was his niece, Katheryn, Comtesse d'Ellesmera. The girls disappeared under rather, unusual circumstances. A number of local village girls were ostensibly being taken to another duchy for marriage or service positions. There are some who whispered something else was afoot, but they only did so where the Duc and his mercenaries could not hear. Legend later sprang up around the two girls, Les Deux Comtesses. Stories told of piracy and adventure, romance that had proper young ladies blushing and yet yearning for the same. This is the true* story of Alysanne and Katheryn, and their adventures.  *These stories are entirely fictional. The characters are not intended to infringe on any copyrights or on real people, even if names are similar or the same. This novel is open by application. This story was started at Ile de Torture ~ Tales of Pirates and Buccaneers and Chapter One contains the story that was done there. You can find the application to join us here . Once Tristan and Katheryn have received the application, we will discuss the character and storyline proposed to see if we believe it would fit. This may result in more discussion with the applicant or it may not.
