Best Pack Of Writing Wolves March 2008

Our story takes place in present day New York City. The ancient Lycaon Society hides its true purpose and poses as a sort of dusty old club for scholars. However one member has gone AWOL and is infecting the young and the disenfranchised of the city, creating killing spree that is sending shockwaves of horror far and wide.
Something must be done to stop him and his followers before the fate of mankind is put at stake.
Please read our information about Turnskin Werewolves and the Lycaon Society before applying to join Turnskin. Only suitable original characters will be admitted.
This is a horror novel about werewolves but we are supernatural shape shifters and not monsters (unless we are black of heart in which case……….beware!).
There are two types of wolf: those guided by the spirit of the wolf, and those that are wolves because they are craven predators that prey on the weak.
Which one are you?
We honor the wolf in nature and we deal with Native American history and belief systems but we are still a work of imagined horror fiction. We are not directly related to any role playing game system or existing novels or movies however we are influenced by mythology, folk tales, American Indian legends, and the movies Wolf and Wolfen - but our story is entirely original. Vampires need not apply.
Once admitted please post a character biography here.
The Wolves Within
An old Grandfather said to his grandson, who came to him with anger at a friend who had done him an injustice, "Let me tell you a story.
I too, at times, have felt a great hate for those that have taken so much, with no sorrow for what they do.
But hate wears you down, and does not hurt your enemy. It is like taking poison and wishing your enemy would die. I have struggled with these feelings many times." He continued, "It is as if there are two wolves inside me. One is good and does no harm. He lives in harmony with all around him, and does not take offense when no offense was intended. He will only fight when it is right to do so, and in the right way.
But the other wolf, ah! He is full of anger. The littlest thing will set him into a fit of temper. He fights everyone, all the time, for no reason. He cannot think because his anger and hate are so great. It is helpless anger, for his anger will change nothing.
Sometimes, it is hard to live with these two wolves inside me, for both of them try to dominate my spirit."
The boy looked intently into his Grandfather's eyes and asked, "Which one wins, Grandfather?"
The Grandfather smiled and quietly said, "The one I feed."
