More than thirty years after the time when the Justice League and the Teen Titans defended the Earth and its citizens from evil, power-hungry forces such as Slade and Lex Luthor, the villains of the world have united under one banner: The Union of Dissension. At their head is Slade, a man so evil that hell itself spat him back out, and he holds his power with an iron fist.

Now, war has spread across Slade's 'glorious' empire as resisters across the globe finally begin to openly revolt against the dictator's forces, spurred by the knowledge that it is possible for Slade to be defeated. It was a hard-learned lesson, though. For eighteen years Slade had kept the world held firmly under his thumb, easily crushing any attempted uprising. However, in Slade Plaza, the beating heart of the Emperor's sprawling capitol, his mechanized army recieved defeat at the hands of barely more than a handful of young people.

A month has passed since that day, and chaos reigns supreme. In Gotham City, the children of Nightwing and Starfire lead armies of those who remember the Justice League and the Teen Titans, but there is a more sinister element slowly taking hold in the slums and back-alleys, waiting for the perfect time to launch its plans.

And in Slade City the chaos has reached a nearly uncontrollable level. Slade's new base of operations has been destroyed, and nobody knows whether the Emperor himself has survived or not. Factions of former followers have begun to try to take control of the Empire, whether or not their master is truly dead. The streets have become an all-out war zone with no real knowledge of who's on what side.

Please note that while this novel is set in the Teen Titans universe, not all fans of the show will be able to fit here. Make sure you understand the type of storytelling in the novel before putting in your application.


Adventures of the New Teen Titans is only accepting applications from original characters. The MoBs are perfectly willing to help you build one if you are unable, and there are also several NPCs already listed on this thread that are available. If you want to take up a pre-existing NPC, speak with the author who posted the character.
