Best Dedication to the Women of History

Paraphrase of an old spiritual

The true worth of a race must be measured by the character of its womanhood.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Women have always played an important role in history. Whether behind the scenes as mothers or homemakers, in business endeavors, in religious roles, or in the public eye, many strong women have accomplished great things. Some of us have been famous. Others remain nameless.
We have been daughters and mothers. We have been killers and healers. We have been travellers and we have stayed at home. We have followed and we have led. We have failed and we have triumphed. Our deeds, our laughter, our loves, our tears echo down through the ages. And we continue to add our voices to those echoes.
Women's stories have not always been heard. Join us in our discussion of the fascinating lives and contributions of women to the story of history.
