Anthony, Ariella, and Alanna come from an old wizarding family. They were raised by their grandparents, Tobias and Josefine, after their parents perished in the line of duty. Anthony, Ariella, and Alanna have an older brother named Toby and had an older sister named Kendra who died several years ago.

Anthony (b. 23 Jun 1982) currently works as an auror at the Ministry of Magic. He was a member of Hufflepuff House, Head Boy, and played chaser for the Quidditch team while at Hogwarts. He also attended St. Emrys University, where he trained to become an auror. Anthony has dark blond hair, blue eyes, and stands tall at 6'. He is a very friendly, easy-going kind of guy and has many friends. He plays bass for the Dynamic Duo, a band started by Kody Reese-Emerson and Drake Bennett. He married Plum Lancaster on October 1, 2005. Anthony and Plum live in Diagon Alley with Plum's younger brother Alex.

Ariella (b. 19 Sep 1983) is the eldest surviving daughter of Tobias and Karina Beck. She was a member of Hufflepuff House, a prefect, and played beater for the Quidditch team until her expulsion from Hogwarts after the discovery of her relationship with her Herbology professor, Lawrence Masterson. Ariella has red hair, brown eyes, and is 5'6" tall. She is very sweet, hardworking, and active. Ariella eloped with Lawerence in Brisbane, Australia on October 15, 2002. They remarried before family and friends in Sydney on December 31, 2002. Until recently, Ariella worked at Briar's Bakery. She attends St. Emrys University and has an internship at the Ministry of Magic's Department of International Magical Cooperation. She lives at Hogwarts with her husband.

Alanna (b. 14 May 1985) is the youngest sibling in the Beck family. She was a member of Hufflepuff House, prefect and played chaser for the Quidditch team. She also attended St. Emrys University, where she studied law. She currently works at the Ministry of Magic as a junior lawyer. Alanna is a brown-eyed brunette and stands at 5'4". She is headstrong, athletic, and very bright. Her fiancé is Jared Wynbourne.

Katherine Spinnet

Katherine is the illegitimate daughter of Tobias Beck and Margaret Spinnet, making her half-sister to Toby, Kendra, Anthony, Ariella and Alanna. She was born in the same year as Kendra. Katherine learned about her blood ties to the Becks on New Year's Day in 2001. She attended St. Emrys University and studied photojournalism. Katherine led a protest at the university for the rights of "nons"--wizards who aren't purebloods--and was arrested. She was a prisoner of Azkaban and later sent to The Mews, a community for "nons" and blood traitors like herself. Katherine currently works as a photographer for The Daily Prophet.

Gillian Colley

Gillian is the illegitimate daughter of Tobias Beck and Violetta Colley, making her half-sister to Toby, Kendra, Anthony, Ariella, Alanna and Katherine. She was born in the same year as Ariella. Gillian came to England from New Zealand in search of her birth father after the death of her mother. The striking resemblance to Ariella eventually led to the discovery that they were related. Gillian attends St. Emrys University.
