Anne Covington (the brunette) and Jean Delavan (the blonde) are fraternal twins. Born Annette and Jeanette Beale, they changed their names before starting their careers to distance themselves from one another.
Both were highly sought after models, each appearing on numerous magazine covers, though who has the most is hotly debated. Both were considered top models until the late 50s when the look started skewing towards younger and quirkier.
In photographs, Anne's beauty and sophistication was tempered by an inner warmth. As for Jean, she approached the camera as if the word aloof was invented just for her.
Now, the two women who were born rivals are trapped together by circumstances beyond their control.
