ingeal is a mercenary swordswoman of the Ui Niall Clan. Her father is Feradach,being the younger brother of Saoirse's father, Diarmait; her mother Sion, leman of Feradach, is deceased, having died in childbirth.
Raised without title, but as a Freewoman of standing and under the protection of her cousin, the King of Ulster, Aingeal learned the sword in her father's household, becoming adept at it's use faster than most girls at her age. Having no mother to gainsay her decision, Aingeal eventually bid her Royal Father goodbye, and set off to find more wealth and adventure. She has never regretted her decision. While visiting Dunadd, a handsome, fierce warrior caught her eye by the name of Cadwalladr MacRoth. Possibly the next tanist of Fionnlagh, Righ of Dunadd, Cadwalladr wended his way into her heart, and Aingeal decided to stay, rather than return to her Ui Niall family. Currently, Aingeal is in making a bid for the now-empty office of Righ of Lorne, but the derbhfine will have to be convinced, and there are many who would like nothing better than to see the daughter of a Niall dead than be the Rian of Lorne. Will she become Rian? Will she even survive the attempt?
