Newly embraced Ventrue, originally from England. Moved to New York with his brother Jacob before the embrace, ran a somewhat occasionally successful detective agency specialising in the unusual and potentially supernatural.
Their investigations brought them close to something in Kindred society that they were better off not knowing, before they could investigate further Jacob was kidnapped and embraced, Benedict tracked him down and was given a choice, join them or die.
Both choices were supposed to result in the investigator's deaths, sired without the permission of the Prince a blood hunt was called and the pair fled the city in the nick of time.
They travelled as far away from New York as they could manage, Los Angeles, but even there things haven't been going smoothly.
