As Prince du Sang and Duke of Orléans Gaston is the secon most important member of the House of Bourbon, the ruling dynasty of France. He is the younger brother and heir presumptive of his brother, Louis XIII. However Gaston is pushed into background by the King and his Chief Minister Cardinal Richelieu, so it remains for him only hunting, riding, flirting and debaucheries. However these things are boring him now. Gaston is born troublemaker and rake, but a very lovely one.
