In the Alien Hive Novel
 Son of Marshall Brech, Executive Director of Undal-Brech Industries, Kyle has been groomed to take over the role when his father stands down.
Given access to Military and Private Projects, Kyle has slowly been undermining those of the competition through foul play. Secretly building his own empire with the intention to dominate the existing players, his fathers exit at the helm of the family business may be sooner than he imagines.
Kyle is an excellent businessman with the ability to manipulate others with ease. Lies come easily to him and his delivery is such that no one ever suspects him of bending the truth.
 He's married (for 7 years), to Sophia Undal-Brech and they appear devoted to each other. Some unkind reports have viewed the marriage as a merger rather than anything involving love, and acquaintances of Sophia have been quoted as saying that Kyle pursued her relentlessly until she agreed to his proposal. Sophia herself has never commented, Kyle has always laughed at the idea.
She has no interest in the family business and signed over her shares as a wedding gift which horrified her father who wanted to retain a 50% stake in the family name. Kyle now owns 25% of Undal-Brech, with his father retaining 50% and Lias Undal holding 25%.
Kyle has survived two assassination attempts - a third one might be successful
