 The younger brother of Nathan Valentine, Marcus has managed to stay away from the political arena and concentrated his efforts on building his own business empire. Aided occasionally by his brother, Marcus now has a stake in a wide variety of enterprises and a very healthy bank balance.
 Determined to expand his interests, Marcus has bought land and property under his Valentine Realty wing and has become a celebrity in his own right due to his purchase and refurbishment of Infinity's Edge, the major hotspot nightclub on Castelli.
 He was married once, to Prisilla Barchovek, a former model and a first class bitch and although they've been divorced for almost a year, she still manages to be a thorn in his side.
He is currently single but rarely seen without a beautiful woman on his arm.
