 Misou Rand is the leader of a band of scavengers. They recover derelict spaceships, equipment, reverse engineer pieces and build whole new systems. If you want it, they've probably got it........for a price.
Her team is tight knit, loyal and the best in the business. So covert is their operation that no one knows any member of her team except Misou and prospective buyers deal direct with her.
 She's not a woman to be crossed and wouldn't think twice about shooting you in the head. You only deal with Misou if you've been referred to her by other customers. She doesn't advertise, doesn't need to, and is always in demand. She's also known as being a supplier of any drug you might want to get your hands on although she doesn't tolerate her team using anything while they're on a job and has fired people for less.
Her base is on Serenno but she has several other locations in operation and is an accomplished pilot. For the past year she's been secretly obtaining supplies and supplying the Rebellion.
 Misou uses her sexuality to seduce useful contacts and has been having an affair with a married Senator for a number of months. The information gained has proved useful to her Rebellion contact, known only as Cypher, and her mark has no idea of her true identity and reasons for sharing his bed.
She's been the lover of Malachi Slade, a mutually satisfying relationship that still flits between on and off, for more years than she cares to remember but then Misou rarely cuts ties with past lovers, she never knows when she might need something from them, be it their expertise or their intimate company.
