Jacques Depardieu is a French cardio-thoracic surgeon. Very good and dedicated to his career, he had failed his marriage with Celine. Ten years had passed since he had last saw his ex-wife, when he receives a phone call from Marsala, Sicily telling she had passed away with cancer. The person on the other side of the line also informs Jacques that Celine had a son and that he is the father of the child.

Right away, Jacques leaves his job at France and flies to Marsala in the search of the son he had never knew he had. He only know is name: Daniel. But Jacques is not alone. Helping him on his quest is Ezalea Stanton, a woman that Jacques is founding to be quite interesting. Will Jacques manage to find his lost son? Would the feelings for Ezalea be more than friendship?
