In the Twisted Fate novel:
Iahmes Meryt-Seshat is 22 years old, has dark brown hair and brown eyes. She is rather slim and short, but always makes sure her voice is heard. She is good friends with the King and works for him as assistent, royal scribe, and 'Overseer of the Great House'. She lives in the capital Waset and has a modest villa, on the palace grounds with an old housekeeper and a young maid as company. Unfortunately her duties tend to keep her away from home.
Her parents, high ranking courtiers, who were ambassadors and envoys of the previous King, have now retired and live on their estate in the countryside. After her father had tried to marry her off to a fellow noble of a befriended family, whom she had refused, the relationship between Iahmes Meryt-Seshat and her father has cooled considerably.
She has two other siblings. Her older brother has chosen the quiet life and spends his time with wife and kids on the old estate of his parents. Her sister is more of an adventurer, but gets herself into trouble more often then is good for her.
Having lived in Nubia for a few years in her youth, Iahmes Meryt-Seshat has also gotten herself acquainted with princess Bi-Ancha and the two became childhood friends.
Her hobbies are (if she ever finds the time) reading, archery and strolling around in the city.
