Candice is a vampire and has lived in Sin City for the past five years, having exchanged territories with another vampire. Her previous home was Rome although she has lived all over the world and speaks a multitude of languages fluently.

She is approximately 965 years old but has the appearance of a woman in her late twenties. She's careful to safeguard her privacy, living in a luxury house carefully shielded from others and monitored via a high tech security network.

She's a successful writer, having had a number of novels published and the income from those along with the allowance from the Senate gives her the ability to live in complete luxury.

As most vampires, she lives alone, is careful to feed away from her own doorstep and obeys the rules of the Senate even though she disagrees with many of them. However when her Mentor is murdered she finds herself elevated to a position on the Senate itself and having to decide the fate of a fellow vampire. Only then does she begin to see for herself the corruption within.

Candice is a 47th Century bounty hunter who worked with the Torchwood Cardiff team to trap and destroy a murderous alien.

Having been asked to join the Cardiff team by Jack, Candice refused and returned to her own world, but fate has already intervened and Candice is now back on Earth and serving as a member of the Cardiff team.

In a relationship with Mal, Candice is still finding her place on Earth and is conflicted as to whether she wants to remain.

Candice is a successful artist, a turnskin, and the wife of Wyatt Thiess. Having been married for a number of years, their marriage has begun to crumble and his control of the chaos wolf lurking within her is starting to slip.
