Slave to the Hunger: New York:
A former courtier for King Henry VIII, she fled England after her Father refused to allow her to marry the man she’d fallen in love with. She went to the New World shortly after Columbus’ first jouney, and settled in the area that would become known as New York. It was different, vastly different than the opulent life at court and it took a lot of getting used to. Eventually, she was taken in by an Indian tribe, the Shinnecock, and learned to survive with their methods. She eventually fell in love, after the fear of being found by mercenaries by her Father and the King had passed.
It was the man she fell in love with, named Running Moon. They were married and in 1495 she was sired by her husband. He guided her through her “new life” through the first centuries of her life and then she was alone. She does not know what happened to Running Moon, and to this day has not yet heard from him again. Now, she is in love with Micha, a Professor of History at NYU. She, is a historian now.
