Having reached the rank of Lieutenant, Jez was busted down to Corporal after a mission went badly wrong although he was merely the scapegoat, not the cause. After serving on another ship, Jez is transferred to the USS Bourgainville and finds that not everything is quite what it seems. As a member of an elite squad of marines and a systems expert, there isn't a computer system he can't crack or a door he can't open and he loves his job!

He's never been married although came close to it once when he was much younger but got cold feet, since then he's focussed on his career and engaged in a number of one night stands, although always discreetly. A regular bed partner is Tiera Shrenn and he's horrified to discover she's a civilian on his ship preferring to keep his private life at a distance from his job. He's good friends with Raivin Cleary, a fellow Corporal and someone he's served with a few times and they have a strictly platonic relationship.

He's tough and a good leader, well respected by his team and his peers, able to make decisions and keep his team alive. He has a sarcastic sense of humor and likes to be one of the guys but when he gets promoted back up to Lieutenant things start to seem even weirder as far as the next mission is concerned and quite suddenly he doesn't know who he can trust.

A smuggler and space pirate, captain of the Pylat, head of a small band of like minded individuals who take what they can by stealth or force and a man who has no loyalty to either the Jedi nor the Empire. Infamous throughout the galaxy, there are a few hefty bounties on his head, but so far no one's been smart enough to try and claim them, but that could have something to do with the fact that he has numerous aliases and never falls into a routine.

With a girl in every Cantina and enemies just waiting for that one chance to step in and take over his operations, Jezzick has to constantly watch his back. His crew are loyal and they're the only people he truly trusts, especially Solani, with whom he has a close friendship.

However nothing has prepared him for a particularly hopeless bounty hunter, her double crossing accomplice and a couple of faces from the past!
