In the Paradise Novel
Roy is a deputy sheriff on the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. He's currently on loan to the Lanai Police Department where he shares duty with Sgt. Tommy Daily and Officer Donna Tyler.
In The Sandbox Novel-Zeitgeist
Roy is the chief hotel detective for L'Hotel Sentinelle in 1928 Paris. There he deals with all manner of people drawn to life in the City of Light.
From deposed royalty to the stars of the day such as Hemingway and Lindburgh, Roy sees them all. There are even rumors of otherworldly goings on there at the hotel. No matter what the situation, Roy handles it all and still manages to be a sharp dressed man.
Roy's 1928 Citroen is behind him there. A Rolls Royce it is not, but it gets him where he needs to go and does it with a reasonable amount of style. The other picture has some of his sharp-dressed friends.
