My name is Fanny Fae. I was born Frances Moira McKay, of Clan McKay in Scotland.
To all that do not know, I am a Halfling. That meands that I am half-human and half Unseelie (Dark) Fae. I am the product of a devoted Priestess of the Fortunate Isle, and a Dark Sidhe prince, Gan Ceanach, which means "Love Talker".
Soon after reaching majority, I assumed the role of High Lady of the Fortunate Island. Some say that I came to power by my own honest ability. Others contend that it was by sheer political will, determination but more than anything by pure deception as much as by the Art of Magic. Certainly laws of both Fae magical power and that of humans were well understood by me, so you are free to draw your own conclusions.
Now, as war comes between the Fae Kingdoms and that of humans, I must choose a side. Will it be Seelie or Unseelie Fae? No matter what side I finally do choose, it will change the future of the Fortunate Isle forever.
