"All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible. This I did."

T.E. Lawrence

"Time is on my side, yes it is."

Shopping one day, Alexandre saw something in a shop window that caught his eye. It had seemed strange to Alexandre that an antique pocket watch was in a Paris shop that boasted it sold items of real "Magic".

A researcher and lover of history, he went in to take a closer look at it. On closer inspection it seemed to be late 18th century Verge pair cased pocket watch. The kind carried by British officers and gentlemen during the Napoleonic Wars.

There was something about the time piece that called to him. The shopkeeper, smiled and said that it was a very special item and that it was clear to him that it wished to be with Alexandre.

Once home, Alexandre closely inspected his purchase. The pocket watch was in remarkable shape. He discovered a secondary dial face which rotated out from behind the primary face. This face showed a date could be set. It was set on an incorrert date. Alexandre decided to wind the watch and then reset the date. He wound the watch twice, then everything went strange.

Turned out that the watch really was magical, it allowed Alexandre to travel back in time. Using the watch to set him well financially, he now spends his days choosing time periods to visit and heavily researching the period so he can slip in seamlessly. He uses these trips to inspire his new career as a writer. Many critics have praised him for his attention to detail and have said, "his book feels like he has lived in the time period." Little do they know that he has!
