Isolde Fine née Farnon was a professional Quidditch player for the Salisbury Snakes until an injury forced her into early retirement. Her position was chaser. She attended Hogwarts as a Slytherin student. Isolde's best friend was Alexis Black (d. 1999) and her husband is Pyrrhus Fine.

At the end of her first full professional Quidditch season, Isolde suffered a fall from her broomstick and wound up paralyzed. One of her teammates, Frieda Fenford, jinxed her broom. Isolde has since regained the ability to walk but no longer plays Quidditch professionally. She coached the Plymouth Polliwogs, one of the first Little League Quidditch teams in Britain. After the Ministry of Magic began discriminating against wizards without pureblood ancestry, the league decreased from ten teams to three. The Polliwogs disbanded and Isolde took over coaching the London Lambs. A year later, the Polliwogs reformed with Isolde as their coach, a position she held until 2010.

Isolde married Pyrrhus Fine in August 2004. They live together in Salisbury, England. Their son Paul Giovanni Fine was born on October 2, 2010. Daughter Alexis Eliza Fine was born January 8, 2013.

Isolde's cousin Azaelia Bramble attended La Escuela de Hechiceria in Santiago, Chile. She was a librarian in Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade and has been the librarian at Hogwarts since 2003. She was married Robert Blackheart from 2006-2012.

Isolde's parents, Gorman and Iseult Farnon.
