Salve and Welcome to my Villa

Salve, my name is Aithne Cornelia, the sister of Legatus Legionis Caeso Geta Cornelius, and a fraternal twin sister to Althea Cornelia Cassius. We are all born and raised in Tuscan region of Italy of a well-known and well-respected parents and of noble parentage, my father, Physician Alexenor Cicero Cornelius and his lovely wife, my mother, Lady Mana Cornelia.

Some say that my twin sister, Althea and I have the gifts of healing from the Gods. My father, Alexenor trained both us in the healing arts of physician since we were both very young. Years later, I have been working as physician in Ephesus for five years where I met my future husband at that time, Tribuni Angusticlavii Marcus Justus Gaius Flaminius, the eldest son of Senator Marcus Gaius Maximus Flaminius and his wife Lady Lucilla. My betrothed's father is one of the great orators of Rome, and he will be greatly missed.

Within a year of our meeting and after his triumph return to Rome with his troops, Justus and I were wed. A year later, I bore my beloved husband Justus, a set of fraternal twins, a boy and girl, named Darius and Helen. They are most treasured possessions. The months that followed have been the most happiest in our lives raising our two children until my beloved husband received word that he and his troops head off for Britannia.

It was several weeks later that I received a missive from a messenger of one of the Centurion friends of my husband. And this was th day, that I closed off my heart towards any man. In the missive, I learned, the most horrible and the most heartwrenching news about loss of loved one. It was one that I always dread. My beloved husband, pride of Rome, Legatus Legionis Marcus Justus Gaius or Justus as he sometimes known was sailing back with his some of his men from Britannia when a terrible storm over took them and killed them all.... I've been in mourning ever since .... and he now in the Elysian Fields watching over our children and myself.

I've been in mourning ever since.. Working to heal the people of Rome, and taking care of my most beloved and prized possessions... my two children, fraternal twins, Darius and Helen.

My appearance is that of great beauty of long dark brown hair with haunting chestnut brown eyes and creamy and flawless complexion. Dressed in a finery of a noble family; whose father once served the Emperor himself as a royal physician.
