Two Roman senators were talking politics and one was going on and on about the Greek idea of people getting together and discussing the issues and making an informed decision and the other said:
"You know what the problem with democracy is ?" he leaned in and whispered soto voice' : "They actually LET people vote !!"

Now I've been one to quote this joke
(thats right, I admit it, I'm a closet fascist...though in this politically correct day and age we prefer to call it : "New ~ Age Republican Socialism")
When this whole weener thing with Anthony Weiner hit the media fan I thought it another smoke screen 'much ado about nothing' issue UNTIL his constituency started weighing in and voiceing the opinion that since he's been a good political advocate and fought like hell for his people's interests and he didn't actually brake any laws ...he should be left alone to be the nerd he is and do his job !

gee...maybe the Roman joke ain't always right...can there be hope for humanity ?
