May I have your attention, s'il vous plaît!
Thank you all for coming. It's so nice to see so many familiar faces.
The premiere of Goth Girl's goth opera titled "Das Mädchen Das Die Welt Brach" will start momentarily. Don't forget your programs, if you haven't already taken one.
Please do join us in attending. Although Opera attire is traditionally black tie, since it is a goth opera, there's always traditional Goth couture in black and red... sanguine red... Though, in this Theatre, you are welcome to come "as you are" if you'd rather.
I've been hired by the Pan Academy of Arts and Sciences to look throughout the crowd for nominations for the Best Dressed Attendees, as well as the Worst Dressed (a fine distinction, let me assure you), though I'm sure there are a plethora of other awards to be given (some of which may not even be thought of yet... *ahem*)
As I was saying, I have also been given a box of badges to give to those who inspire or amuse. What do they look like, you ask? I haven't opened the box yet, but be assured that I will.
So please, finish your h'or d'ourves, find your seats, and join us for
"Das Mädchen Das Die Welt Brach"
