 Character Packrat

I never delete characters, ever. There may have been an instance or two where I created a home for testing purposes or some such thing but my characters stick around forever. Some have simply been names I wanted, or ideas or personnas for holidays or specific themes, but anyone who knows me knows I very rarely create new characters so the number of characters I do have isn't a huge number anyway, and I like to use one character in several stories.

When I first rejoined Pan I think I created only a couple of characters, the original one Adrasteia Hatshepsut I reused in at least four different novels with only two of them being Ancient Egyptian. *Chuckle* I'm sure my writing partner can attest it was like pulling teeth to get me to actually CREATE a separate character for the last story I joined up. Adrasteia hasn't been written for years, but will I ever delete her? Absolutely not. Nor will I delete that one Halloween character from three years ago, or the Go'uld that I'll probably never write again.... Those are all treasured memories at the very least.
