Adrasteia lightly tugged the bridle leads of her mount, coaxing the horse to where she could hitch him. Quietly she left him and entered the stadium, the contest had begun earlier and contestants already working diligently on their second entries. She took a seat next to Gabriel, the Archangel and Divine Herald who smiled kindly at her.
"Thank you for being here at the start of the contest, I see you've put up our first sponsor's ad."
"Of course, it is my pleasure. I am surprised that you are late yourself. Sidhe are normally very punctual."
"Oh, I had a bit too much drink last night." Adrasteia eyed Devlin, and when he glanced up she shot him a quick wink, "Dwarven ale is stout strong drink, even to a faery."
"Didn't get into too much trouble, I hope?"
"No, nothing that more dancing and drinking could not remedy."
Gabriel laughed, for as pretentious as elves could be they often were sated by the simplest of pleasures. "There are other Sidhe here as well, Lady Coventina, and of course Devlin. Is he not presently traveling with you and the King?"
"Yes he is, and we are awaiting your presence eagerly as well..." Adrasteia cast her gaze towards Coventina, "but Lady Coventina, it is know she serves the Black Prince. We should all be very cautious of her trickery."
