The Black Pearl's Made Ready to Sail

Author: Sesen  Date:   01-16-12 12:45 The Black Pearl’s Made Ready to Sail When my Captain is ready and longs for the sea, When desire to hear the wind’s wail, Yearning to feel the sea spray in his face – The Black Pearl’s made ready to sail. When grasping the wheel and guiding her path, And steering her beauty through uncharted sea, Has totally captured my Captain’s attention, Unfurling her sails – the Pearl’s power he’ll free. Her black sails will billow, made full by the wind, Her bow will caress blue-green water – The might of her speed and the grace of her masts Will beguile him – naught else will matter. The power he feels when grasping the wheel Is a feeling that only compares, To touching a lover and feeling that strength, Burning love that you both will soon share. When a storm rakes her decks and rattles her rails, And danger looms in and over each wave – He’ll guide her with steady and strong loving arms, The Pearl’s courage and strength make him brave. When he walks on her decks, inspects all her sails, Secures all her lines and climbs in her rigging, There’s peace that he’ll find, calm fills his heart Just a song that the Black Pearl is singing – Of adventure and danger, of seabirds and whales – Of treasure, of gold, and sweet love – A longing to steer her, and make her course true, Journeys made with stars’ help from above. The Pearl’s held him, and rocked him Protect’d him from wrong – Provided him treasure – Made him rich, made him strong. With a magic connection, the touch of a lover, He guides her, puts her to the sea’s test. And when day is done and the hot sun has set, He’ll tie her to dock and let her soul rest. As time goes by, the Pearl’s always his own - Another treasure – another love has begun – So now he has two, he knows what to do Make them join and rejoice in the union. So, my Captain, my love, the Pearl is now ours – Her power and strength she’ll unveil – With you at her helm and me by your side The Black Pearl’s made ready to sail.
