Aye, was rather coerced into writin' this. My Sese says I can be right poetic if encouraged. So here goes...she's holdin' a sword to me back...I like it!
A Port Called Pan
There’s a port we call Pan where one writes from the heart
And finds tales and poetry’s thrillin’.
But more than that’s written – there’s reference and blogs
Knowledge grows - if the mind be so willin’.
With a smile I can claim - I’m so glad that I docked.
I was welcomed and felt right at home.
Pan Historia’s best, so forget all the rest
Aye, I’ll stay, lines are tied, ne’er to roam.
This pirate’s no poet – never claim to be so!
But this writin’ can be satisfyin’.
Just give me a pen, some parchment and rum
I’ll give it a shot, there’s no harm in tryin’!
