Magazines are the twins to the Reference Books, with one exception. Whereas members must apply and join Ref Books to post, Magazines are open to everyone and members can post in any character, without joining.
Magazines are free to start, but you need to pitch your idea here so that the Pan Publishers can approve it, and then a staff member can get onboard as a MOB to help run it.
You do not need to be a member of a Magazine to post, nor do you need to apply to a magazine to become a member.
To be a MOB of a Magazine means to help in the creation and running of the magazine and is a privilege, not a right. Magazines remain the property of Pan Historia not the MOBs.
Pan Publishers approve Magazine concepts that seem well thought out, have room for growth, and can generate member interest.
If you wish more control about the direction and content please consider applying for a reference book instead.
When applying: Please include -
Short Description - This will be displayed on the "Reference Books and Blogs" page found under the Jump Menu. It must be 250 characters or less, including spaces. Anything over 250 characters will be cut off.
Long Description - This will become your Dust Jacket text, and can be changed by the MoB once your Magazine is created.
MoB - Magazines require a minimum of two MoB, one of whom is a staff member. This can be worked out during the discussion of the Magazine on this thread.
